Aretusa Vacanze is located in the Ortigia island, the original ancient greek city site. the building is a XVII century palace and it has been completely refurbished in 2004. Aretusa Vacanze is situated in a characteristic and peaceful alley, just a few steps from Aretusa’s Fountain. it is a wellspring of fresh water shrouded in legend and it is a Siracusa symbol since ever. Our b&b is also very close to Piazza Duomo, situated in the heart of Ortigia. In this wonderful square you can admire the superb Cathedral , built over the ruins of a greek temple from V century b.c. nearby you can pay a visit to Palazzo Bellomo’s Museum as well as the majestic Maniace Castle that lies on the very tip of the Ortigia island.
